About Us

St Brigid’s Photo Group was established in the late 1990’s. The aim and objective of the Group is to help members improve their photographic skills in an informative and friendly environment.

There is no fancy equipment needed to join the group, a simple point and shoot camera is all you need to get started

The Group meet in St Brigid’s Community Centre in Blanchardstown every Tuesday at 8pm from September to June. The weekly meeting runs for 2 hours with a tea/coffee break at around 9 pm.

Each club night is designed to help members learn about the art of photography and improve their skills with a combination of presentations and actively using camera and lighting equipment.

External judges and guest speakers offer insights and tips while our experienced members offer great support to the newer members, freely giving the benefit of their experience.
